Main interests are in the area of VLSI methodology and architecture, parallel processing of multimedia. Have published more than 50 technical papers and held more than 50 US and China patents, have involved in the design of more than 10 commercial VLSI chips used in cable set-top box, video receivers and TV broadcasting headends. Advised theses for more than 10 PhD’s and more than 30 MS’s.
